Update: 06//21/04  The Parachute Jump may not get the new life that we all hoped for.  News has it that it will be illuminated at night.  The EL at Surf and W8th was totally renovated as trains were rerouted. Track, switches, structural repairs, mods, paint and millions of dollars went into this project. Now the station is functional again.

After a 5 million dollar renovation, why isn't the Parachute Jump doing anything else but beginning it's rust cycle again?
